We took our classic self-install ground screw and added a thicker shaft and a little more length. 

We’ve retained the same 68mm diameter, so the screw remains compatible with all of our bracket systems and is just as easy to handle. And most importantly, the price is completely unchanged. 

The new robust build gives you added flexibility and reassurance as you lay the foundations for your project.

A Thicker 2.5mm Wall for Added Strength

We’ve increased the wall thickness to 2.5mm, giving the screw a more rigid, harder-wearing shaft as it’s driven into the ground.

For you, that translates to extra peace of mind for your home and self-install builds, such as garden workshops, deckings or shed bases.

More Length, More Flexibility

Alongside the thicker wall, we’ve also added length. At 650mm, the new screw reaches that bit deeper into the ground, with around 100mm left above the surface to mount your bracket and frame.

The extra depth helps the screw anchor securely, which is precisely what you want from a foundation. 

As with all our ground screws, it’s immediately load-bearing, so there’s no waiting around for concrete to cure. Once installed, you can start building straight away.
